You will be part of our recently established Sustainability team, where innovation and personal initiative are paramount. Your working hours are 37 hours per week with some degree of flexibility to suit your university schedule. We are looking for an ambitious, curious and dedicated colleague who is passionate about the world of sustainability and transforming luxury hospitality towards more responsible way of being.
Your work areas include:
Contributing to implementation of EMS (Environmental Management System, part of ISO 14001:2015 framework)
Contributing to the development of ESG report
Supporting ongoing projects within sustainability department and working closely with our Sustainability Manager
Contribute positively to Kurhotel Skodsborg’ s Green Journey
Bring in new innovative ideas and different points of view
We expect that you:
Are enrolled in relevant Master’s education within sustainability, tourism & hospitality, change management, service management, etc.
Have a basic knowledge about ESG and ISO 14001
Are structured and are able to navigate among different tasks at the same time
Are passionate about sustainability and eager to learn more about it
Fluent and professional in English, Danish is an advantage
Previous experience working with sustainability and hospitality is an advantage
Our ideal candidate:
You are hospitality professional, have a background working with sustainability and have knowledge of ISO 14001. You are passion-driven, curious and eager to learn. You have a positive attitude and are open-minded. You are a team player, while also being able to work independently and with a solution-oriented approach.You want to perform at a high level, working in a structured manner and keeping cool-headed even in busy situations.You are able to communicate fluently in English and ideally Danish as well.
Further information
We are looking to have this position occupied from 1st August 2023 for a period of 3-6 months.
It is an unpaid internship position. There may be a possibility for an additional part-time job if needed.
